The talk today on CHML’s Scott Thompson is all about my new favourite toy, The Beatles: Rock Band, which hit stores today. As reported here a few posts ago, it is gear, fab.
Some chat too, about the new BBM Canada Personal People Meters that are counting heads as of this month on TV and radio. Local newscasts seem to be the big winners under the new system, with CTV’s local super hour newscast clocking in at an incredible 1,641,000 viewers Tuesday night.
I also gush about my new favourite show, Glee (reviewed below), which has its regular series premiere tonight at 9 p.m. ET on Fox and Global. You can listen in here.
TONIGHT: Ran out of time to post a separate item on this but check out That’s So Weird, a smart new sketch comedy series aimed at that trickiest of audiences–‘tweens. It premieres tonight at 7:30 on YTV. I’ll have more on this made-in-Toronto effort (shot at a “retired” downtown high school) in Sunday’s Toronto Star.
