I keep forgetting that Bones is pre-released by a day on Global. If you missed the 100th episode Wednesday night, you can still catch it Thursday night at 8 p.m. on Fox.
The stars, including John Francis Daley, Emily Deschanel and David Boreanaz (above with one of the Olsen twins), were at press tour in January to chat about the series and to promote this episode, which was directed by Boreanaz.
Also ar press tour was Bones’ creator and executive producer Hart Hanson (below), who worked his way through many Canadian series over the years. The University of Toronto grad (where he was known as Hart House Hanson) wrote episodes of Neon Rider, Road to Avonlea, Ready or Not, North of 60 and Street Legal as well as Traders. He later wrote and produced on American shows like Cupid, Judging Amy and Joan of Arcadia before creating Bones five seasons ago.
Hanson goofed on Borenaz at press tour, saying how shocked that Boreanaz was so well prepped as a director. “I thought he’d be more of a seat of the pants kind of director,” says Hanson. The 100th episode takes the characters back six years to before the series started. Turns out Brennan and Booth shared a smooch before they became forensic will they or won’t they TV teasers.
