Our ol’ pal JR Digs has come out of his van long enough to tell us about a special concert happening this Sunday in Hamilton. The 5th Annual JR Digs Acoustic Christmas Concert will take place Sunday, Dec. 22 from 7:30 p.m. to 11 at the Casbah. Spencer Rice from Kenny vs. Spenny is the special guest but don’t look for him to get punk’d by Kenny, he’ll be performing an acoustic set on guitar.
Other Hamilton area talent rocking it old school acoustic style will be Peter & Leah of July Talk, Sarah Blackwood from Walk Off the Earth, Tom Wilson, The Dinner Belles, Adam Bentley of The Rest, Luke Bentham of The Dirty Nil and Max Kerman from The Arkells.
All proceeds go directly in support of Ronald McDonald House of Hamilton.
Digs also has a signed Jim Cuddy guitar you can bid on on-line to help raise money for this worthy cause.
