Dean Norris (left) accepts the key to a 2001 Chrysler Sebring

WILMINGTON, N.C.–Stephen King has been scaring readers and film and TV fans for years. What scares him, he was asked Tuesday.
I can’t tell you, but it was illuminating and poignant.
The 66-year-old was sitting in a screening room on the studio lot where King’s series Under the Dome is produced.
Last summer’s No. 1 drama in Canada and America is back in production for another 13 episode summer run. The cast, including Mike Vogel, as mysterious stranger “Barbie” Barbera, Breaking Bad grad Dean Norris as Big Jim Rennie and Montreal-native Rachelle Lefevre as a crusading town reporter, all spent time chatting with international reporters Tuesday.
I’d love to spill more but the whole damn press day was embargoed up the ying yang. Suffice to say King is one hell of a story teller in person as in print. I’ll have a juicy feature on him up on the CP newswire in June when Under The Dome–America’s No. 1 drama series–returns to CBS and Global.
Also chatty and fun at the Tuesday press session was Norris, the Breaking Bad hero who leapt straight into this hit. Will Norris be able to sneak into any episodes of the Breaking Bad prequel Better Call Saul during time off from the short-run Dome series? That would be no. Why not? Check back here in June.
