Here is an offer you just can’t refuse: hanging out in a Toronto bar styled after the hit streaming series Mobland.

The folks at Paramount+ Canada — one of the valued sponsors here at brioux.tv — announced Wednesday that they have brought a taste of the edgy crime series to T.O. It is all timed to promote Season Two, which premieres Friday, Sept. 19 on Paramount+.

The event is being held from this Friday, Sept. 11, through the 19th in conjunction with Toronto’s Elephant & Castle. They have mobbed up their Windsor Bar, located at 212 King St. West, to look like it has been taken over by the ruthless Harrigan family. They are led by Conrad and Maeve, played by the formidable duo of Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren. Their unhinged characters make The Sopranos look like residents of Mr. Rogers Neighbourhood.

Doing their dirty work on the series is loyal fixer Harry da Souza, played by Tom Hardy. Ten new hours make up the second season, with new episodes running weekly through November 20.

Smartly scheduled throughout the run of the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), the bar-based ballyhoo will allow fans of the series to have their mugshots taken at custom photo stations, test their luck at the “Wheel of Chaos” giveaway booth, and experience entertainment and live music from The Causeway Giants and Old Man Flanagan’s Ghost.

Best of all, you won’t even have to whack anybody to get in on the fun.
