PASADENA, CA: Today at #TCA24, AppleTV+ dropped the trailer for Palm Royale, one of the more anticipated shows presented to reporters Monday during the press tour.
The series, which is set in 1969, stars and is executive produced by Kristen Wiig. The former SNL and “Bridesmaids” star plays Maxine, who is trying to climb the high society ladder as one of the cool housewives of South Florida.
The series also stars Laura Dern, Allison Janney, Ricky Martin, Josh Lucas, Leslie Bibb, Amber Chardae Robinson, Mindy Cohn, Julia Duffy and Kaia Gerber. Extra special guest stars are TV legend Carol Burnett and film star Bruce Dern. Palm Royale marks the first time Laura Dern has worked with her father Bruce.
The series premieres March 20 on AppleTV+
