More cops and docs and rescuers and masked singers led the list of most-watched broadcast network TV shows in English Canada the week of May 10 to 16. Among the usual suspects in the Top-10, according to Numeris:

  1. 9-1-1 (Global) Mon 2,084,000
  2. The Rookie (CTV) Sun 1,966,000
  3. The Good Doctor (CTV) Mon 1,862,000
  4. 9-1-1: Lone Star (CTV) Mon 1,766,000
  5. The Masked Singer (CTV) Wed 1,752,000
  6. Young Sheldon (CTV) Thurs 1,722,000
  7. Blue Bloods (CTV) Fri 1,701,000
  8. NCIS (Global) Tues 1,673,000
  9. CTV Evening News (CTV) MTWTF 1,525,000
  10. The Equalizer (Global) Sun 1,382,000

The rest of the Top 30 is just as predictable. Numbers 11 (New Amsterdam); 12. (Chicago Fire); 13. (Law & Order: SVU) and 14 (Chicago Med) are all hour-long US imports, all first responder shows, all drawing over 1.2 million.

Masterchef Canada, at No. 20, was the highest-rated (and, with Big Brother Canada concluded the week before) only Canadian production on the list with 1,123,000 CTV viewers. Global’s broadcast of Saturday Night Live, hosted by Elon Musk, drew 1,118,000, at No. 21.

The only hockey game on the list was a Wednesday Leafs tilt on Sportsnet National which drew 1,057,000 viewers, good enough for 25th place.

There were zero Canadian scripted dramas or comedies on the English Canadian Top 30 that week.
