Last Saturday’s fourth game in the 2024 Stanley Cup finals saw the Edmonton Oilers, on the brink of elimination, defeat the Florida Panthers by the lopsided score of 8-1.

The win boosted final round ratings to their highest level yet in English Canada. An average, overnight audience of 3,682,000 viewers watched the game, broken down over three broadcast platforms. The Sportsnet national take was 1,793,000. Add 1,403,000 who caught the game on CBC. Then there was Saturday’s ABC feed simulcast in Canada on Citytv.

The series resumes Tuesday night in Sunshine, Florida, on Sportsnet, CBC, City, ABC, ESPN and TVAS.
