Just a reminder–tickets are still available for next Tuesday’s BRC Fall Preview gala at the Four Seasons in Toronto. “Programming Insider” Marc Berman from Mediaweek and yours truly will spin through the fall forecast, broken business models be damned. Thanks to the generosity and cooperation from the folks at CTV, Global and City, clips from several of the hottest news shows for the fall will be shown, including Glee, Modern Family, The Vampire Diaries, Melrose Place, Cougar Town and even a sneak peak at the new suspense series ABC has kept pretty much in the vault, Flash Forward. What’s a BRC?
It stands for “Broadcast Research Council” of Canada. They provide a forum for trends and issues in the TV biz and act as a liaison between the numbers guys and the networks. Check them out at http://www.brc.ca
