Well, it took a week, but the royals or spoils or whatever they’re called now did tease their way to the top spot in the weekly Netflix Top-10 in Canada. Netflix says the series ranked near the top in 85 countries and worldwide totalled 97.71M hours viewed, proving that viewers everywhere just can’t resist a good victim story — especially if the victims are rich and famous and photogenic.
After four weeks, the Addams Family spin off series Wednesday dropped one spot to No. 2 in Canada. Something called, Don’t Pick Up the Phone, which must be about telemarketers calling at dinnertime, launched in the No. 7 spot. The Crown, a favourite with dentists, slid to the ninth spot.
