Save the date — WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 14 — for a special holiday-themed TV on Film Project screening.
Watch The Dec., 1963 episode of The Dick Van Dyke Show titled, “The Allen Brady Show Presents” where Rob, Laura, Buddy, Sally and Mel put on a Christmas show.
Then there’s “Sisters at Heart” (1970), perhaps the most jaw-dropping episode of Bewitched. Both with vintage commercials on glorious 16mm film. Fall Preview goodies from the ’70s will also be screened.
BONUS FEATURE: a 1966 episode of the CBC series Telescope goes behind the scenes on Batman. Holy Canadian exclusive! It’s all happening Dec. 14 starting at 6 p.m. at the cozy 8th floor screening room deep inside CBC HQ on Wellington Street.
