Monday night during Monday Night Football and while the Dallas Cowboys were getting blown up like the planet Alderon, Disney+ premiered a more interesting distraction. It was a “special look” at the upcoming second season of The Mandalorian. The “Star Wars” inspired space epic returns Oct. 30; see the sneak peak above.
Season Two’s eight new episodes will premiere every Friday. They’ll show the Mandalorian and his special cargo — Baby Yoda — continuing their journey in a tumultuous era after the collapse of the Galactic Empire.
Pedro Pascal is back, of course, as the helmet-headed bounty hunter known as the Mandalorian, with Gina Carano, Carl Weathers and Giancarlo Esposito in support. Showrunner Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Bryce Dallas Howard, Rick Famuyiwa, Carl Weathers, Peyton Reed and Robert Rodriguez take turns directing the new episodes.
