The most-watched TV show on Netflix in Canada over the past week was MH370: The Plane That Disappeared.

The three-part docuseries looks at the tragedy that occured in March of 2014 when Malaysian Airlines Flight 370 disappeared from radar screens shortly after takeoff on a flight from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing. There were 239 passengers and crew members on board and while there was plenty of speculation, what happened to that aircraft and those passengers remains a mystery.

The docuseries was also the most-watched Netflix offering of the week around the world in English, clocking 59.88 million hours viewed and landing in the Top-10 in 86 countries.

Meanwhile, that Chris Rock “Selective Outrage” live comedy special that failed to crack the Netflix Canada Top-10 the week before? It landed at No. 8 the week after.

In movies, the Netflix feature film “All Quiet on the Western Front,” which picked up four Oscars Sunday including Best International Feature and Best Cinematography, the was fourth most-watched non-English film worldwide. In Canada, the most-watched film was “Luther: The Fallen Sun.”
