As expected, Disney’s Camp Rock rocked the ratings on both sides of the border. The Ontario-produced TV-movie, featuring red hot teen sensations The Jonas Brothers, drew nearly 850,000 viewers to the Family Channel premiere June 20, rating it as the second-highest non-sports broadcast among Canadian specialty broadcasters in the past five years, bested only by Disney’s High School Musical 2.

The summer musical drew a further 8.9 viewers Stateside on The Disney Channel.
Does this mean the Jonas kids will be trekking back to Muskoka to shoot a sequel? The hard part will be jamming it in their schedule. The brothers kick off their summer tour July 4 at the Molson Amphitheatre in Toronto.
